Writing
I began with the idea of animating groceries on paper turning them into real food to demonstrate
transformation between 2d and 3d worlds. I then endowed a story about a big fat bear who accidentally
entered a two-dimensional world of cards since he had pizza belonging to the two-dimensional world.
I
wanted to create a mysterious house and enjoyed the shadow to stand out more.

The biggest challenge in this
project was using perspective and symmetry in cinematography to refine my style frame. I took a little time to
learn the perspective function in Procreate.
In the animation part, I first attempted character rigging with
Duik. I recorded myself eating and bending my foot while walking as references for the bear eating pizza
(especially the hand position) and walking. And I recorded how a coin rotated to me and laid flat.
Last, because I had different camera angles in my animation, I added flying cards and cards that had already
fallen on the floor in the final correction session to keep the time and space consistent.
